[Press] SUCON, Attended in Shinhan Financial Group Startup Conference

SUCON attended the Shinhan Square Bridge conference on behalf of the block chain technology company.

Conference of Shinhan was the first on-offline forum to discover startups with promising future technologies and link continuous and close partnerships and communities with large global venture investment firms.

Due to the COVID-19 crisis, only 10 startups were selected to participate in the conference. SUCON was selected as a technology startup for the fourth industry.

Kim Sung-ho, CEO of SUCON, said, “Our company’s focus on technology, innovation, and real block chain business models, which is differentiated from the existing exchange and the block chain companies that remain in profit from the market price of cryptocurrency, that seems to have shown a positive appeal to Shinhan Financial Group.”

At the conference, Quantum technology, which is being jointly invested by Singapore and China to connects aerospace, became a major block chain issue. In Korea, there was a discussion about a technology-oriented innovative block chain platform that can counter the global block chain.

코로나 사태로 인하여 10개 스타트업만을 선별하여 현장 참가 기업을 선정했다. 슈콘은 4차산업 기술 스타트업으로 선발되어 컨퍼런스에 참여하게 됐다.

김성호 슈콘 대표이사는 “기존 거래소와 암호화폐 시세차익에만 머물러 있는 블록체인 기업들과는 차별적으로 오로지 기술과 혁신 그리고 실질적인 블록체인 비즈니스 모델에만 집중하고 있는 저희 기업의 모습이 이번 신한금융그룹측에 어필이 긍정적으로 보여진 것 같다”라고 말했다.

컨퍼런스에서는 싱가포르와 중국측에서 합작 투자를 진행하고 있는 항공우주와 연결되는 퀀텀 기술이 주요 블록체인 이슈가 됐다. 국내는 글로벌 블록체인에 대항할 수 있는 기술중심의 혁신적인 블록체인 플랫폼에 대한 토의가 있었다.
